Weapons are plentiful in Dead Island 2, but you will want them to pack a little something extra, especially as you smash, slice and kill the undead coming after your head. This page will list the locations of all of the Melee Weapon Mod Blueprints in the game.
Where to Find the Uncommon Melee Electrocutor Mod¶
This will be the first melee blueprint weapon mod you will get, since it’s part of the main story and you will need it in order to continue. Once you meet with Sam B at Emma’s Mansion, you will eventually be taught how to craft, using the 
Workbenches you’ve likely been seeing around the game’s world. It is during this tutorial that you will be handed the 
Uncommon Melee Electrocutor Mod from Sam B.
Where to Find the Uncommon Melee Impactor Mod¶
Go to this spot to find the Uncommon Melee Impactor Mod
It will be on the !Workbench, in plain sight
You will find this one at the Halperin Hotel, where you go during the main story. Your main goal for this story mission is to reach Room 307, so keep following the steps until you finally reach the third floor. Once you do, you will find a room with a Workbench inside, before Room 307, and the blueprint will be right on that Workbench.
Where to Find the Uncommon Melee Cremator Mod¶
Go to Emma’s Mansion to find this blueprint
It will be on the !Workbench after returning from Halperin Hotel
After completing 
Room Service for Major Booker, you can return to Bel-Air and Emma’s Mansion. Upon doing so, head to the area with the Workbench and look on it for this blueprint.
Where to Find the Uncommon Melee Puncturator Mod¶
Find this mod blueprint in Rikky and Roxanne’s garage
It will be sitting right on the !Workbench
Eventually, you will be forced to head to Beverly Hills for the main story, which is where you will find this weapon mod blueprint. Here, you will meet Rikky and Roxanne, and have to close the gates in order to continue. This leads to the garage being opened up, with zombies inside it, of course. After clearing the area of said zombies and closing the gates (more zombies will continue pouring in while they’re open), check the garage to find a Workbench, with this blueprint being right on it.
Where to Find the Uncommon Melee Mutilator Mod¶
You will find this blueprint in Beverly Hills, at this spot on the map
It will be on the !Workbench, right next to Jessie
While still in Beverly Hills, you will need to find Roxanne’s daughter, Jessie. This will lead you to a mansion that’s under construction, where you will eventually rescue Jessie from some zombies inside the mansion. After clearing the area, you will find her inside a room. Inside that same room will be a Workbench, with the blueprint sitting on top of it.
Where to Find the Uncommon Melee Liquidator Mod¶
Alesis Hernandez can drop this blueprint
If you don’t pick it up there, you will find it next to the radio after exiting the studio
The next area after Beverly Hills will be the Monarch Studios, a movie studios with plenty of buildings. At the end of this area, you will be introduced to a new zombie type, the 
Slobber, in the form of a boss named 
Alesis Hernandez. After defeating this boss, it will drop the weapon mod blueprint. If, for some reason, you forget to loot the blueprint then, you have another chance to get it. As you exit the Monarch Studios area with the boss, you will pass by a radio, which starts The Rav-ages of Caustic-X sidequest. The second chance to grab this blueprint is right next to that radio.
