A character from Disgaea 2. He is the famous Dark Hero. He has done many things, such as dyeing many Netherworlds his color, or becoming a warden. He is always positive, no matter what problems he faces. He is concerned about his family, and takes care of them.
In order to unlock Axel as a playable unit, you need to complete all maps in the DLC episode titled C. Tournament. Before diving too deep into Axel, he does have pretty good stat aptitudes across the board, as all of them are 110% or more. However, that’s about one of the few good things about him, as his unique Evility isn’t that good (it’s okay) and his common Evilities are pretty low tier. Despite this, he is a pretty good fist user, with a backup plan being using a sword with him. However, there are simply much better fist/sword users over him.
Axel’s unique Evility is called Obvious Tendency and it increases the stats by the number of female units on the map x5%. If you’re using a lot of female units, this isn’t bad, but it’s kind of just okay. There are better Evilities out there for increasing stats, though. Withstand nullifies warp events in the Chara World, which can be nice once you start going crazy with that portion of the game, as randomly getting warped to another section of the map is annoying. However, once you get enough items and are pretty strong, then this might not be as good.
Electric Soul increases the damage dealt by wind attacks by 20%, while also decreasing the wind damage taken by 20%. If you’re using a lot of wind attacks, then this can be good, but it’s just medicore otherwise. The final common Evility for Axel is called Explosive Skit, which makes it so units thrown by a character with this equipped will explode, like a Prinny. Of course, it’s just easier to use Prinnies, as you’re not wasting an Evility slot (an expensive one, at that), plus this doesn’t work against enemies classified as bosses or that have deathblow immunity. Lastly, it can only be used once per map, so that makes it even more worthless for its cost.

There are three major areas in the Disgaea universe, Celestia, which is home to the angels, the Human World, and the Netherworlds. The Netherworlds are split up into a bunch of different ones, each governed by an Overlord, who has their own set of rules. Those very same Netherworlds are now in danger of being destroyed or taken over by an evil army known as The Lost, who is being led Void Dark. However, a ray of hope appears in the form of Killia, who seems to have a deep grudge against Void Dark. Can he really go through the rumored 10 billion Lost soldiers and exact his revenge against Void?
