A true warrior who pushes himself to his limits. These fighters can battle enemies with guns & swords equally, by using his ki. The original master of this martial art is rumored to be a legendary human street fighter. Power is justice and the only truth.
The Martial Artist is a class you have from the beginning of the game and is primarily a fist user. That means they will get up in your face in order to deal damage, so you should expect a physical powerhouse. Martial Artists do have a high HP, ATK and SPD value, especially since fist damage is calculated by the latter two stats. They also have a decent DEF aptitude, but their other stats are lacking. They should only focus on Fists, as it is their best weapon, although they are decent at Spears, too.
One of the biggest advantages of using the Martial Artist is that they are proficient in Counters. They possess a stat of four counters from the beginning, so they can actually strike back after enemy attacks up to three times without any boosts. In fact, their unique Evility, Fury, centers around having stronger attacks based on the number of counters. Thus, a build based on increasing his number of counters is a good idea, as well as anything else related to that, including upping his ATK and/or SPD.
The Martial Artist’s unique Evility, Fury, increases his ATK by the number of counters (x25%). This means that the Martial Artist’s greatest utility is to get enemies to counter him. Retribution will simply increase the number of counters available by 2, so they become even more powerful with their counters, especially if paired with something like Forced Counter, which forces enemies to counter. You could also add something like Beyond the Future, which makes it so you counter before being attacked, as long as you’re not defending. Heavy Stance is always a great Evility to have, since it increases stats by 30%, at the expense of not being able to lift that character.
In terms of other unique Evilities to add, Immortal Body will decrease the damage from physical attacks by 50%, which will increase the survivability of the Martial Artist. Also, Bushido will increase the attack power by 50% whenever you are hitting a single target. Since counters only hit a single target, this is a great thing to have equipped. Greedy Disposition also increases the character’s stats, but it does that according to the digits of your money x 3% (so, 1 million HL would equal a 21% increase in stats, up to a maximum of 39%).
There are three major areas in the Disgaea universe, Celestia, which is home to the angels, the Human World, and the Netherworlds. The Netherworlds are split up into a bunch of different ones, each governed by an Overlord, who has their own set of rules. Those very same Netherworlds are now in danger of being destroyed or taken over by an evil army known as The Lost, who is being led Void Dark. However, a ray of hope appears in the form of Killia, who seems to have a deep grudge against Void Dark. Can he really go through the rumored 10 billion Lost soldiers and exact his revenge against Void?
