A mysterious girl of unknown status. Overlords respect her agility and combat skills. She was meant to be the star of her own game, but due to circumstances out of her control, she is destined to travel the Netherworlds on her own.
In order to unlock Asagi as a playable unit, you need to finish the main story. Once you do that, head to the Strategy Assembly to find a new bill present, called Research a Strange Netherworld. Passing this bill unlocks The Phantom Copies area, which only has a single map. Complete the map to unlock Asagi. As you can see from her stats, Asagi is destined to be a gun user. Her HIT and SPD are her highest stats, and she has S rank in Gun weapon mastery. Therefore, you should build her as a gun user. Her unique Evility, Main Character R., is situational, as it only gives her bonus damage against Overlords.
Asagi’s unique Evility is called Main Character R. and it increases her attack by 50% whenever she is attacking an Overlord. While this is nice and all, because of the attack boost, it is quite situational and means it becomes lesser of an Evility. Since she should be using a gun, there are a number of Evilities to help with that. Flying Bullets makes it so your range is not restricted to just a straight line while a gun is equipped, while Acceleration Shot increases your damage by 15% for each panel you’re away from the target. Bullet Set lets you execute another normal attack with a gun equipped, and Dual Wielding increases the ATK by 20% when you have a gun equipped in both the main and sub weapon slots. Lastly, there is Sniping, which increases the attack range by 2 panels with a gun equipped.
Asagi was supposed to be the main character of the game, Makai Wars, but due to it being indefinitely postponed, she has appeared in a bunch of other Nippon Ichi games as a guest character.
There are three major areas in the Disgaea universe, Celestia, which is home to the angels, the Human World, and the Netherworlds. The Netherworlds are split up into a bunch of different ones, each governed by an Overlord, who has their own set of rules. Those very same Netherworlds are now in danger of being destroyed or taken over by an evil army known as The Lost, who is being led Void Dark. However, a ray of hope appears in the form of Killia, who seems to have a deep grudge against Void Dark. Can he really go through the rumored 10 billion Lost soldiers and exact his revenge against Void?
