Battle

In order to unlock Rozalin as a playable unit, you need to complete all maps in the DLC episode titled C. Tournament. Rozalin is another good character you can have in your party, as she is powerful, has some nice skills, and some great Evilities. She is geared towards either using magic (with Staves) or a gun, although you will most likely be using a gun. She has a good SPD aptitude, but an average SPD one. However, she does have good INT and RES aptitudes, too. Looking at her elemental resistances, she has no weaknesses there, although there is some weapon weaknesses. Her Overload is good, as well as her Evilities, so she’s definitely a worthy member for the team.

Skills

Skill Unlock Notes
Rose Thorns Lv 8
Crest Roses Lv 42 Ice element
Rose Liberation Lv 80 Ice element
Dark Liberation Lv 80 Star element; Only during Overload
Love Revelation (Combo) Combo with Seraphina

Overload

Rozalin’s Overload is called Severe Aeshma and it will increase her attack by 50% for three turns. By itself, it is nice because a straight 50% boost to the attack modifier is great, but there’s a bit more with this Overload. Once you trigger this, you will be able to use the Dark Liberation skill, which is a pretty large area-of-effect.

Evilities

Rozalin’s unique Evility is called Queen Glitter and it boosts the attack power of male allies on the map by 20%. Combine this with some other Evilities and you can give a great boost to your male characters. Queen Orders will increase the magic range of units in an assigned squad by 1, but it has a maximum of 3, so you can have on three characters in a squad. Toss them on some throwaway units, place them in a big squad like Foot Soldier and the rest of them get some extra range to spells.

Love makes any character that is within range of Adell make both of them regenerate some HP and SP at the end of their turn (5%). This can be nice and all, but you need the character with this Evility, as well as Adell, although the latter is definitely a great unit. The last common Evility is called Unbearable Power and it increases star element damage dealt by 50% during Revenge mode. This seems a bit specific, until you realize that Rozalin herself learns a powerful unique skill while in her Overload form, called Dark Liberation, and it is star element. So, you get some extra damage there.

Evility Slots Effect Req
Queen Glitter Unique Increases attack of male allies on the map by 20% Default
Queen Orders 4 Increases magic range of units in assigned squad by 1 (max of 3) 500 Mana
Love 2 When Adell is within 3 panels, both recover 5% of HP and SP at end of turn 5000 Mana
Unbearable Power 3 Increases star element damage dealt by 50% during Revenge Mode 30000 Mana
