They hail from an all-women, ice mountain village called Badre. They strictly adhere to the rules set forth by their ancestors, and hate to use any weapons other than bows. Their breasts slowly got smaller over the years, so as not to hinder their use of the bow.
In order to unlock the Archer as a playable class, you will need a Fighter at Rank 2, as well as a Healer at Rank 2. The name of the class alone should say it all, as the Archer is a master of the bow. This is reflected by them having high HIT and above average ATK, the two stats needed for a bow, as well as S rank in weapon mastery, once they reach the final tier. The Archer’s unique Evility, Support Attack, allows them to help building up the combo bonus, especially if there happen to be a few of them.
The Archer’s unique Evility is called Support Attack, which will let them attack the enemy normally (when in range) if an ally attacks the same enemy. Basically, if the Archer is in range and an ally attacks an enemy, the Archer will perform a normal attack on them. This is a great thing to help build up the Combo bonus, allowing yourself to deal some huge damage to a single enemy. Hit Mastery is the basic Evility that increases a stat aptitude (HIT, in this case) by 10%. It might be worth it in the beginning, but it falls off pretty fast and isn’t worth wasting any slots.
Bow Range increases the attack range by one panel, as long as a bow is equipped. The further an Archer can hit an enemy, the better. Arrow in the Knee makes it so an enemy’s SPD is decreased by 10% after the unit (with a bow) attacks them. While an Archer should never really have trouble hitting an enemy, dropping the SPD of someone might be slightly beneficial in lowering their damage, should their damage rely on SPD. Fly Swatter increases the unit’s attack when they’re fighting flying units. If you know you’re up against flyers, then equipping this is a no-brainer, but it’s worthless otherwise. The final common Evility of the Archer is Support Fire, increasing the damage dealt by support attacks by 50%. You really only need this if you plan on using Support Attack on strong characters.
