Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII: Reunion

How to Get the Moogle Summon in Crisis Core Reunion

By
Jarrod Garripoli

In Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII: Reunion, the DMW plays a large role in combat. When the reels stop on the same image three times, you’ll get a limit break or summon. This page will tell you how to get the Moogle Summon.

The Moogle Summon can help you level up your Materia

One of the more recognizable creatures from Final Fantasy is present in Crisis Core Reunion, as a summon, although you will have to wait a little bit before actually obtaining it. The Moogle summon can be a great one to have, as it’s mostly a utility summon. Whenever you trigger the Moogle summon, it will level up all of your currently equipped Materia, with the amount it levels them up equalling the level of the summon used. For example, you trigger a Level 5 summon, then that means you will have of your currently equipped Materia maxed out.

How to Unlock the Moogle Summon in Crisis Core Reunion

Before doing anything, you will have to wait until Chapter 3 of the main story. Being mindful of other missable stuff, progress the main story until you reach the Mako Reactor 5 and see a lengthy cutscene involving Sephiroth. Upon regaining control, look to the side to see a ladder, so approach it and you will unlock a Mail, Treasure Princess - Recruitment, and also Mission 8-4-1. As you complete these missions, you will run into a certain Wutai ninja during them.

Doing this set of Missions is great, not just because you can get several summons from it, but also because the final mission in the set will reward you with a powerful Materia. Just progress through those missions normally, until you reach Mission 8-4-4: Suspicious Mail 4. If you’ve been doing a bunch of other missions up to this point, then you really shouldn’t have much trouble with this one, either. If you have the "Fira" iconFira Materia, then that should be more than enough to help complete the mission, especially if you have plenty of "Ether" iconEthers to restore your MP.

Your reward for completing Mission 8-4-4 is the Moogle’s Amulet, which unlocks the Moogle Summon for your DMW.
