How to complete The Path of Royalty¶
This page is a walkthrough for the Quest, The Path of Royalty. It will navigate you through the necessary steps to successfully defeating Rathian.
The Path of Royalty Quest becomes available when you reach 2* Hub Quests.

Rathian Location¶
Once you’ve accepted the quest, be sure to consume some delicious Bunny Dango and equip yourself with a Ice based weapon before departing. You’ll be able to find Rathian in the following locations.

How to defeat Rathian¶
Rathian is one of the classic monsters that’s been around since forever. Her male counterpart is the Rathalos, another Monster Hunter mainstay.
Head to one of the three potential locations to find Rathian roaming around.
Watch out Rathians fire attacks.
The big things to watch out for are Rathian’s fireballs and her deadly, poison-coated tail. So long as you stay clear of those, you should be able to wreck her eventually. For an in-depth strategy to tackling Rathian, refer to our separate Rathian page.
