How to complete Like a Flash of Lightning¶
This page is a walkthrough for the Quest, Like a Flash of Lightning. It will navigate you through the necessary steps to successfully defeating Tobi-Kadachi and Mizutsune.
The Like a Flash of Lightning quest becomes available when you reach 6* Village Quests.

Tobi-Kadachi and Mizutsune Location¶
Once you’ve accepted the quest, be sure to consume some delicious Bunny Dango and equip yourself with a Water, Dragon or Thunder based weapon before departing. You’ll be able to find Tobi-Kadachi and Mizutsune in the following locations.

How to defeat Tobi-Kadachi and Mizutsune¶
Tobi-Kadachi¶
Tobi-Kadachi is a Fanged Wyvern which was introduced in Monster Hunter World. This monster has a major weakness to Water. Tobi-Kadachi relies on its claws, tail and teeth to defend itself, but eventually it’ll reach a charge form during the battle which gives his attacks the ability to inflict Thunderblight on you. Mizutsune¶
Mizutsune is a Leviathan type monster introduced in Monster Hunter Generations. This monster has a major weakness to Dragon and Thunder. Mizutsune likes depend on water-based attacks to defend itself, such as spraying water in a direct line in front of him. Return to Kamura Village¶
Once you’ve defeated Tobi-Kadachi and Mizutsune, return to Kamura Village and speak with Hinoa to bring this quest to a close.
