Sons of The Forest is a sequel to The Forest and it was finally launched on February 24th 2023. As you may already know if you played the previous game you’ll need to find strong weapons to deal with the cannibals/wildlife. This page will navigate you through the necessary steps to finding all the weapons that are currently available in Sons of The Forest.

How To Get All Weapons in Sons of The Forest¶
How To Get The Firefighter Axe in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Firefighter Axe in Maintenance A Dig Site
You’ll be able to find the Firefighter Axe sitting inside the Maintenance Room at the end of the long corridor inside the Maintenance A Dig Site which is located to the northwest of the snowy mountain.
How To Get The Modern Axe in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Modern Axe in an abandoned camp.
You’ll be able to find the Modern Axe at the abandoned camp which is located to the northwest of the snowy mountain. The Axe will be impaled into a body near the tent.
How To Get The Chainsaw in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Chainsaw in the theater room
You’ll be able to find the Chainsaw sitting inside the Leisure Bunker, which you access via the nearby cave to the west side of the snowy mountain. Inside, you’ll need to go through to the nightclub, and open the door via the 
Guest Keycard, then find the optional bean bag theater room. However, before you can do this you’ll need to get your hands on the Keycards which can be done by following the steps on this page: All Sons of the Forest Keycards and How to Get Them.
How To Get The Compound Bow in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Compound Bow in the bedroom.
You’ll be able to find the Compound Bow sitting inside Maintenance B Shaft, besides the bathtub in the bedroom. However, you’ll need the Shovel before you get inside, so follow the steps on this page to find out how to get it: How to Get the Shovel in Sons of the Forest
How To Get The Machete in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Machete in a deflated dingies
You’ll be able to find the Machete sitting inside a deflated dingies near the camp at the edge of the beach to the north of the map.
How To Get The Pistol in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Pistol in Raft.
You’ll be able to find the Pistol by heading to the beach to the west side of the map, then swimming into the raft to find it sitting beside the GPS Locator.
How To Get The Pump Action Shotgun in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Pump Action Shotgun in a bar.
You’ll be able to find the Pump Action Shotgun by heading to the Bunker to the northeast of the Snowy Mountain, then look for a Bar area to find the Shotgun sitting on top. Additionally, you’ll be able to find 9 Shotgun Shells.
How To Get The Revolver in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Revolver in Maintenance Shaft C
You’ll be able to find the Revolver by heading to Maintenance Shaft C which is located to the northeast of the snowy mountain, then use the Shovel to dig a hole beside the Gold caddies. Inside you’ll find the Revolver sitting beside a corpse.
How To Get The Slingshot in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Slingshot sitting outside a cave.
You’ll be able to find the Slingshot by heading to the cave west of the Snowy Mountain, then look for an impaled body outside.
How To Get The Stun Gun in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Stun Gun inside a cave.
You’ll be able to find the Stun Gun by heading into the cave to the north of the snowy mountain, then look for a handing body to find the Stun Gun attached.
How To Get The Stun Baton in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Stun Baton sitting a waterfall.
You’ll be able to find the Stun Baton by looking for a pool of water to the west of the Snowy Mountain, then you’ll find it sitting near a pile of bones.
How To Get The Katana in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Katana in a Bunker.
You’ll be able to find the Katana by entering a Bunker to the southeast of the Snowy Mountain, then go down to the second room of Floor 2. However, you’ll need to the

How To Get The Crossbow in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Crossbow sitting in the Food Bunker.
You’ll be able to find the Crossbow by entering the Bunker to the northwest of the Snowy Mountain, then use the

How To Get Guitar in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Guitar in the Nightclub.
You’ll be able to find the Guitar sitting inside the Leisure Bunker, which you access via the nearby cave to the west side of the snowy mountain. Inside, you’ll need to go through to the nightclub to find the Guitar sitting on the bar.
How To Get Putter in Sons of The Forest¶
You can find the Putter in a Bedroom.
You’ll be able to find the Putter by entering a Bunker to the southeast of the Snowy Mountain, then look inside the bedrooms on the first floor.
