The Mercenary Guard is a Tier 2 Mercenary infantry unit. They can be recruited from most taverns or sometimes acquired as prisoners after defeating enemy forces. They have a basic wage of 5 denars and can be upgraded to Mercenary Swordsman or Mercenary Crossbowman for 50 denars.
