Apophis is the second world boss in Tower of Fantasy, with players venturing into the Banges and encountering it along the way. Players want to fight world bosses for the chance at loot, but it comes at a cost at a fairly difficult challenge, as Apophis is one of the hardest World bosses in Tower of Fantasy. Those who want to fight Tower of Fantasy’s Apophis can get the lowdown via this guide.

We guide you through the second Tower of Fantasy World Boss, Apophis.

Tower of Fantasy Apophis Guide

It is worth mentioning that the mechanics of the Tower of Fantasy Apophis World Boss is probably one of the hardest out there. This boss has legitamte MMO tactics, requiring players to coordinate and stand with each other, along with avoiding plenty of skills that can easily one shot players. Therfore, we have made this Tower of Fantasy Apophis guide to help players along with their journey. In addtion, we explore the location of the boss, to help players find it, along with all the neccessary tactics you need to know. Finally, we have added in the Apophis loot table for players to look at and decide if the boss is worth their time or not.

Tower of Fantasy Apophis Location

Here is where to find Apophis World boss location in Tower of Fantasy.

The location of Apophis in Tower of Fantasy can be found in the Banges. Look for the Banges Factories towards the centre of the map, venture there, and then climb the hillside above it. On top of the plateau is the Apophis location, which should be around level 30, unless it has been scaled.

Now that you’ve arrived at the location of Apophis, you can engage it in combat. It is possible to do it solo, but it is better to put out a call and see who comes running to the channel. Alternatively, look in the World Chat at the bottom left of the screen and see if it is up on another channel.

Tower of Fantasy Apophis tactics

Once you are in location and ready to go, you need to know the Apophis tactics to avoid dying and running back. Below are the main moves you need to watch out for:

Fireballs - Throughout the fight, Apophis raises its hands into the air and launches fireballs from its hands. This generally targets all players in combat, starting with those at ranged. Every player will need to move to avoid the blasts. The fireballs come down at random, so be on your toes to avoid getting hit. Melee players need to move as soon as the fireballs come down much quicker as they are closer to the boss. Also, avoid standing where another player just stood, as that means you could be hit by a slower-moving fireball heading to their former position. At the end of the cast, the boss throws one last big one at a random player. It has a large blast radius, so you must dash as far away as possible if you think you’re near it. If you’re the one chosen, you’ll probably die. Unlucky.

Rock Throw - Another move that Apophis does is throw rocks at enemies. There are targeted skills the boss does on someone who has aggro. Ideally, a tank should have this, as any lower-level player will get one shot by it. You can also avoid taking damage by dashing as the rock gets closer.

Melee Swipe - The boss also has a general anti-melee skill, where a red circle appears around the boss. The boss will then charge up its arms and make a 360 swipe attack. If you’re in the red zone, simply move out of it with a dash, and you’ll be fine.

Random Melee Attacks - Apophis can also face a player and make a swipe attack. The move either is one heavy charged-up swipe with its paw, or a three burst that slams down at the end of it. If the boss faces your direction, you need to move to its side and at range as fast as possible to avoid getting hit. The swipe parts of the attack will hit enemies in a 180 degrees rotation, so be careful.

Pounce - The boss turns to face a player and gets low. The boss then stays in that stance for several seconds before pouncing toward that player’s direction. Once again, avoid being in the direction of it pounce, and you’ll be fine. It is also possible for the Apophis to bounce multiple times. So, be on your feet in case it pounces another target straight after a pounce.

Energy Radiation The boss will sticks its claws in the ground begin to blast waves throughout the battlefield. You need to move to a player with an opposite orb above their head to avoid damage or just out range it to avoid damage. In other words, if you have a white orb above your head, find another player with a black orb above their head. Dont stack multiple people on the same orb as you will take damage.

This is pretty much all the Apophis tactics in Tower of Fantasy. Good luck fighting the world boss.
