Purchase Game

Final Fantasy IX

Jarrod Garripoli

Throughout your adventures, you will undoubtedly run into a moogle named Stiltzkin, who is travelling around the world. He is easily distinguishable from the rest of the moogles, as he’s wearing a bandana and a bag on his back. The big plus from finding Stiltzkin is that he will sell you item packs for a set price, which is usually cheaper than the combined price for those items from a normal shop. While nothing special for the most part, if you purchase all of the item sets from Stiltzkin, you will receive a bonus Ribbon at the very end. The catch with that, though, is that Stiltzkin will move along to the next location as you advance the story, so it’s possible to miss an item set, thus missing out on the Ribbon at the end.

A group known as the Tantalus Theatre Troupe visits the kingdom of Alexandria to celebrate the birthday of Princess Garnet. Unbeknownst to the royal family and the citizens of the city, the troupe is actually a band of thieves, who are aiming to kidnap the princess. However, to add a twist, the princess was planning on escaping the castle all along, even asking the troupe to "kidnap" her. This little event kickstarts many others, leading to a grand adventure.
