Your objective is to eliminate the high-ranking CFA official in charge of supplying weapons to UNITA. He is located at Nova Braga Airport and not long after you arrive at the location, you’ll receive a report that an arms dealer is arriving by chopper. This also puts a hidden time limit on the mission, as both the official and the arms dealer will tour around the airport, with them leaving after they are done.
Note: Towards the beginning of this mission, usually before arriving at the airport, you will get a call that Mother Base is under attack. Opting to go there will start Mission 22.
Remember that helicopter that dropped off the arms dealer? It is now patrolling the skies and will continue doing so until they are finished with their tour. It seems to stick around the main building, so you are free until you get to that area. Besides the helicopter and the regular enemies, you also have to contend with Walkers, as well as a few snipers on the roof of the main building.
Note: Depending on your actions up to this point, it’s possible that there will be surveillance cameras in the airport, provided you solely relied on stealth up to this point. Destroying them will trigger the enemy to go and investigate them, so be careful.
So, as soon as you drop down, run to the airport and you’ll find a gate that allows you to enter a little to the left if you ran straight (it’s far to the left of the guard tower, but along the same wall). There aren’t too many enemies in this first section, but as soon as you reach the big, open area, you will want to hit the ground and crawl to avoid the gaze of the snipers.
By this time, the arms dealer and official will likely be going around the base, provided you haven’t alerted the enemies (whether they find a sleeping guard or other reasons). If they have, then both of the important NPCs will stay inside of the main building, on the second floor. Should this happen, you can find some stairs on the north side of the building, leading to a door that enables you to directly access them both.
If things come to this, sedate both of them, carry them outside and quickly Fulton both, without worrying about the enemies seeing the balloons. Depending on where you extracted them, your escape can prove to be challenging. If right outside of the building, as stated above, then follow the wall right outside to the south to find a gate that leads to the open field. Carefully watch the gunship as you make your way out of the hot zone to finish the mission.
Mission Task 6
There’s a total of four different conversations that occur between the CFA OFficial and the Arms Dealer, with the first occuring inside of the building where they first meet. They then move to two different hangars before heading back to the same building at the end.
Mission Task 7
The helicopter is carrying a blueprint and once you shoot it down, go to where it crashed to find the blueprint.
Mission Task 8
In order to extract a materials container inside of the hangar, you will require the Wormhole upgrade for your Fulton Device. You won’t be able to get this until you complete Side Op 50, which unlocks after finishing Mission 31.
