This mission is identical, mission tasks and objectives, to the original version of Sahelanthropus. The Extreme set of rules is pretty self-explanatory, as it basically means that enemies will deal more damage to you, meaning that direct combat is not something you want to do unless needed, like in this mission. You have full use of your tools and Buddies in these missions, except for the Chicken Hat and Reflex Mode. As long as you keep moving and take cover for the big laser blast, you shouldn’t have any trouble with this mission.
