Where to Find the Hidden Market in Brisk in Sea of Stars

By
Jarrod Garripoli

You will find many things to do in Sea of Stars, including plenty of optional content. As you explore the various locations, you will stumble across many hidden areas. One such hidden area that you might find is the Hidden Market, in the Port Town of Brisk. This page will elaborate on where to find the Hidden Market in Brisk, as well as where to find the Trader’s Signet.

The Hidden Market is a secret shop that’s located in the Port Town of Brisk.

How to Find the Hidden Market in Brisk

The Port Town of Brisk is where you go to find a boat for your adventure, as part of the main storyline. It will right after going through the Coral Cascades, which is after finishing up the events at Stonemasons Outpost. Once you’re in Brisk and can freely explore the place, it’s time to find the Hidden Market. Note that there is a NPC in the southeastern portion of town that gives a clue for its location, but you don’t need to speak with them to actually find it.

From any beach, go into the water and start swimming towards the one dock that is sticking out on the southern end of town. This dock is hiding the secret entrance to the Hidden Market, as you can swim underneath the dock and go north to enter it. Once you go into the secret shop, look for the chest on the left side to get a Rainbow Conch, then speak to the shopkeeper. Unfortunately, you will need something called a Trader’s Signet in order to actually see the goods at the market.

(1 of 2) Swim underneath this dock in Brisk to find the Hidden Market.

Where to Find the Trader’s Signet in Sea of Stars

You may already have the Trader’s Signet in your inventory, as it is found in the Wind Tunnel Mines, a dungeon you traverse as part of the story during the Stonemasons Outpost section. As you explored that place, you may have come across a room that has a tall platform, with a chest on it, which is the chest with the Trader’s Signet. You will come across a locked door in the mines, which will require the Mines Key. Once you have found it, make your way back to that door and open it, then go inside.

There will be a block puzzle here, with the goal being to push one of the blocks into the hole in the middle of the room. Starting with the left block, push it down just one time, which will put it in the bottom left corner. Make your way to the right block and push it right once, up once, left once, then down right. This will put it into perfect position to push it right one more time, putting it on the button there. With that out of the way, you can push the other block up once, right once, then down once, which will make it fall into the hole.

(1 of 4) Locate the door that needs the Mines Key in the Wind Tunnel Mines.

Drop down to enter the room with the chest, but you’ll have to push the block there into position first (right, up, then left). When that is done, climb the ledges on the right side and hop over to the chest to get the Trader’s Signet. Once you have that key item, return to the Hidden Market and show it to the merchant, who will open up their shop for you, with the following goods:

Item Price Description
Eye of Yomara 888G Displays weaknesses, resistances and non-boss enemy HP in combat.
Dubious Dare 150G Increases damage taken.
Tome of Knowledge 150G Increases XP gained.
Double Edge 150G Increases damage in certain situations (for enemies).

While the Eye of Yomara would be great to buy, it is quite expensive at the time of you first coming to Brisk. The one Relic that increases the damage you take can make the game more difficult for you. The other damage one, Double Edge, increases the damage enemies take whenever they aren’t using skills (Locks). Tome of Knowledge should definitely be one you wish to buy right away, though, as it increases the amount of EXP you gain from battles.
