How to Find the Sunken Docarri Ruins in Sea of Stars

By
Jarrod Garripoli

Toward the end of the game in Sea of Stars, you will unlock a plethora of content that will help you finish the main story. One of these side quests involves Sunken Docarri Ruins, which are kind of similar in scope to the Solstice Shrines. There are four of these in the game’s world, with three containing puzzles, and the fourth housing a boss fight. This page will tell you how to start this side quest, as well as the locations of each Sunken Docarri Ruin.

Where to Find the Sunken Docarri Ruins in Sea of Stars

(1 of 2) Speaking with Resh’an at camp points to this island on the world map.

Before you think about starting this, you will need to have progressed the main story until you unlock the final dungeon. At this point, you will unlock the ability to fly, which is needed to start the side quest. Once you’re at that stage, visit any campfire and set up camp there. Speak to Resh’an at camp and he will point you towards a location on the world map. This island is located in the northwestern corner of the map, north of Sleeper Island.

So, fly to that location and land on the small island, then interact with the object there. This will cause four light pillars to emerge from the ocean, which is one of the keys to getting into each Sunken Docarri Ruin. The goal is to use the solstice light to shine on the runes on the ground, under the water. Once you light the first one, follow the trail to the end, and you will find a whirlpool. The whirlpool will take you under the sea, where you can then venture to the nearby cave for the Sunken Docarri Ruins.

List of All Sunken Docarri Ruins Locations

  • The ruins with Docarri Seal Fragment A is located just northeast of where you triggered the light sources. The whirlpool will appear on the western side of that same little island.

(1 of 4) Interacting with the object on the island makes some light pillars come out of the ground.

  • The ruins with Docarri Seal Fragment B will start just west of Hiker’s Rest, the island that is north of Watcher Island in the southeastern corner of the map. The whirlpool leading to the ruins is just north of that spot.

  • The ruins with Docarri Seal Fragment C has you going to the west of the Western Solstice Shrine Island, which is in between Sleeper Island and Evermist Island. The whirlpool will appear in between some rocks just east of Evermist Island.

  • The final Docarri Ruins will have the light source to the west of Settlers Island (where Mirth is located), and the whirlpool will bring you to the eastern side of the island.
