Sea of Stars

All Flooded Graveyard Chests in Sea of Stars

By
Jarrod Garripoli

Once you make it through the Cursed Woods, you will be back in Lucent, then have to make your way to the Necromancer’s Lair. To get there, you’ll have to make the trek through the Flooded Graveyard first. You will be able to get a few of the chests on your first trek through this place, but some of the others will have to wait until later. In fact, there are two chests you won’t be able to get until near the end of the game, as they involve a late-game side quest.

Treasure Chest 1

(1 of 2) Look for this door that has the Solstice Warriors’ designation.

Look for this door that has the Solstice Warriors’ designation. (left), Climb to the area above the chest, then drop down from there to open it. (right)

Make your way through the area, until you run into the entrance of a mausoleum, which will have a friendly NPC out front. Continue north of him and you will run into some new enemies, called Gulguls. After finishing that battle, wander a little east and then north, to find a north that is marked by the Solstice Warriors colors. Interact with the door to open it, then go inside. Climb the wall on either side, then drop down from the “roof” to reach the chest, which will have Shimmering Daggers inside it.

Treasure Chest 2

Enter the large mausoleum mentioned above and defeat the enemies inside, then climb the wall there to get onto its roof. On the other side of where you emerged, you will see a chest sitting out in the open, so grab the Obsidian Ore that’s inside it.

(1 of 3) You’ll find another chest in the open, after climbing out of the mausoleum.

Treasure Chest 3

Right next to the previous chest, you will see a ledge that allows you to drop back inside the mausoleum. Do just that and you will land on the upper ledge there. Once back inside, walk across the wooden beams (you can’t fall off here, so don’t worry), and to the chest on the other side, which contains the Recipe: Hearty Stew item.

Treasure Chest 4

In the corner right here, to the right of the Necromancer’s Lair entrance, will be a chest with a Rainbow Conch.

In the northern half of the Flooded Graveyard, you will find the entrance to the Necromancer’s Lair. From that entrance, jump into the water to the south and swim to the thin gap on the eastern side of the large skull. Check the left corner here, after swimming through the narrow passage, to find a chest that contains a Rainbow Conch.

Treasure Chest 5

(1 of 3) You will need the Graplou in order to go northeast at this fork.

You won’t be able to get to this chest until you have the Graplou tool from the Necromancer’s Lair. Once you do, climb the wall in the lower half, where you see two grapple points to the northwest and northeast. Go northeast and follow the path until you reach a cave. Inside, you will need to use the Graplou on both rings in the two corners. However, you need to do this quickly, or else the flames that get lit will go out. It’s not all too difficult, though, and your reward for doing this is the chest with the Enchanted Scarf.

Treasure Chest 6

You will likely come across a room with a locked gate on your first time through the Flooded Graveyard, with some symbols above the gate. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to open this gate until the very end of the game, as it’s tied to a side quest that becomes available then. During the Romaya’s Secret Passage side quest, you will actually open this gate and be required to loot the chest, which contains Romaya’s Journal.

(1 of 3) You will have to wait until an end-game side quest to get this chest.

Treasure Chest 7

The final chest in the Flooded Graveyard isn’t a normal chest, but is actually the coffin inside the one crypt, to the west of the mausoleum. You won’t be able to open this until the very end of the Romaya’s Secret Passage side quest. Inside, you will find an Eclipse Armor and the Aventry Crest.
