One of the best things about Borderlands games, as well as the spin-off, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, is the Legendary items you can find. These items are gold in color and tend to have unique effects that are exclusive to that particular one. This page will concentrate on the Legendary Armor, the Pandemecium.

Where to Find the Pandemecium¶

The Pandemecium can be found as a world drop, meaning it’s possible to get it from any loot source. Outside of that, you can also get it as a dedicated drop from Parasite, the boss found at the end of the sidequest, Walk the Stalk. Note that you will need to finish this sidequest before you can farm the boss for the drop. Additionally, if you want to make things a little easier on yourself, head to the Chaos Chamber and farm the loot bunnies at the end (the Armor one) for an easier chance at this item.

Pandemecium’s Stats and Effects¶

Whenever a Poison status effect deals damage over time, there is a 15% chance for the enemy to explode for a certain amount of poison damage. From a glance, this armor effect is not really all that good. For one, you have to use a weapon with a poison effect on it, most of which aren’t all that good. Of course, you still can do that, but the chance for the explosion isn’t that high and the damage you get from it isn’t all that big enough to do any big damage. It might be a base damage, but it’s unclear if it actually scales with anything.
