How To Reach The Drowned Abyss Ancient Obelisk¶
Head to the Dry’l’s Gallery Fast Travel and go up the hill, then take the first right to reach Scuttle Buttress. Continue following the path around until you arrive in Temple of Sacrifice, then take the stairs on the right and proceed through the area to reach the Ancient Obelisk.
How To Complete The Drowned Abyss Ancient Obelisk¶
Your first objective upon interacting with the Ancient Obelisk is to take out a mixture of Crabs and Whelps, then eventually the main boss of this obelisk will spawn, King Q’urub Hullsunder. In order to defeat you’ll want to watch out for three primary attacks whilst shooting him from a distance. His most commonly used attack involves him spitting acid towards, so just move to the side and keep out of the corrosive puddle.
Next up, it’ll burrow underground and then come out in a different location in an attempt to grab you, but if you’re keeping your distance then this shouldn’t cause much of a problem. Finally, it’ll do ground pound which will unleash a shockwave around him, so just be ready to jump over it to avoid taking damage.
