Amalgams - Shinagawa

By
Jarrod Garripoli

Amalgams are special items that can be found while exploring, which when interacted with, will grant you a large amount of Glory. Their icons will always appear on the map, unless there is an Abscess nearby obstructing the view.

Amalgam 10

(1 of 2) Amalgam #10 on the map

Located in Shinagawa - Tennozu. From the Tennozu Isle Leyline, slide down the initial hill and cross the foot bridge, going right at the fork. Go around the side of the building in front of you, to the northern side, then jump over to the unfinished building. Climb the stairs to get to the very top of this building, then go to the southeastern corner of the building, which might require you to jump onto the platform in that corner. If you look down at the ground next to the adjacent building, you should see the Amalgam floating, so you only need to jump down and grab it. You will receive 60 Glory from this.

Located in Shinagawa - Shinagawa Pier. Once you make it to the Shinagawa Pier Leyline, there will be some monorail tracks to the northwest. Get on those tracks and go to the northern end to see the Amalgam in plain sight. You will receive 60 Glory from this.

Amalgam 12

Located in Shinagawa - Container Yard. From the Shinagawa Pier Leyline, go north and look for the path in between the buildings on the eastern side, which will bring you to the Contain Yard area. You know you’re on the right track if you see a road with some Berith on it. Just past them will be a stack of shipping containers, which will have a Principality in the middle with the Holding the Line quest. Right next to Principality will be some containers you can use to jump to the top of the entire set. Once you’re on top, cross over the makeshift bridges to reach the Amalgam. You will receive 60 Glory from this.

Amalgam 13

Located in Shinagawa - Container Yard. It is found in the area where the Abscess is located, which is in the northeastern portion of the Container Yard. After first climbing onto the rooftops of the warehouses with the Bugs demons, you can leap over to this section to the east. You will find yourself in a maze-like area, which is where the Abscess is located. Destroy it, then look south of it to spot some “stairs” you can use to reach the top of the containers. Note you’ll have to hop to the west to reach the very top portion. From there, go north and the path will be clear to reach the Amalgam. You will receive 60 Glory from this.

Amalgam 14

(1 of 3) Get on this highway pictured here and go to the end for the Amalgam

Located in Shinagawa - 3rd Block. You can see this Amalgam as you’re going through the 3rd Block, but you won’t be able to reach it until you go to the 4th Block. Get on the collapsed highway in the 4th Block area and follow it north. When you reach the split path, continue north a little bit and get on the highway just to the east. Once you’re on it, you can travel to the northern end to obtain the Amalgam.

Amalgam 15

Located in Shinagawa - 4th Block. This one is located close to where you found the Abscess, which is where you will find two sets of climbable platforms. One set leads to the Abscess (northern one), while the other set (southern) will lead to a hill. Take the southern set and follow the narrow path just past the hill, to a small section with some Hua Po demons. There is a hill to the northeast that will lead you to the Amalgam.

Amalgam 16

(1 of 3) Look for this stack of cars to get to the upper floors of the garage

Located in Shinagawa - Konan 2nd Block. You will find this Amalgam on the top floor of the multi-story parking garage. It is easily accessed from the Konan 2nd Block Leyline, so start from there. Go to the entrance of the garage that’s near the Leyline and you should notice a stack of cars right off to the side. These cars will allow you to reach the upper sections of the garage, where you will find a ramp to the top floor. Once you reach the top floor, you will the Amalgam in the southwest corner.

Amalgam 17

(1 of 2) Amalgam #17 on the map

Located in Shinagawa - North Shinagawa. North of where you found Idun during the main quest, you will discover a path that leads past some Basilisks. Climb up the blocks you find, until you see some train tracks to your west. Follow these south-southwest, until you reach a cliff where you can see more tracks below. Do not jump down there, but instead, look to the west to see another little area to drop down to, which is where you will find the Amalgam.

Amalgam 18

(1 of 2) Amalgam #18 on the map

Located in Shinagawa - South Shinagawa. For this one, start at the North Shinagawa Leyline, then go south and look for the little path that allows you to get to the higher sections in that area. When you reach the group of Black Ooze demons, head east on the upper path there to find a lone Setanta (normal enemy). The Amalgam will be right behind the Setanta.

Amalgam 19

(1 of 2) Amalgam #19 on the map

Located in Shinagawa - Konan 2nd Block. You may be able to see this one while exploring 2nd Block normally, but you will be unable to collect it until after completing the A Golden Opportunity main story quest. Once you finish that, head past where you found Dazai blocking you, which will put you at a crossroads. If you head south there, you will pass underneath some ruins and at the end, you will come across the Amalgam.
