This Substory can be gotten during Intermission 3, requiring that you also complete An Awkward Pair. For this one, you will need to be playing as Gohan. Something seems to be troubling Krillin and it turns out it’s Android 18, as he can’t stop thinking about her. Suddenly, she shows up and Krillin works up the nerve to ask her on a date. It comes to him after the fact that he needs some advice, so you both go to Yamcha to ask him what to do. He suggests a nice dinner, but Krillin doesn’t have any money. Back at Kame House, Turtle shows up and says he might have spotted some treasure in the back of a cave, but some Skull Robos were guarding it.

Hey look! It’s those Skull Robos again!

That leads us to the gameplay segment of this substory. Travel to the Far Southern Islands area of the map and fly to the cave. Once you reach the entrance, the all-too-familiar Skull Robos will appear. Since they have nothing new to add to their exhaustive repertoire, make scrap metal out of them to initiate some scenes that’ll bring this substory to a close.
