Benefits from Ranking Up

Whenever you rank up, Sophocles will introduce to you a new facility for you to play around with. If you do not install it (for example if it’s rubbish), you can get an item instead, corresponding to the facility you skipped over:

If you want to max out the potential of your Festival Plaza, you will absolutely need to rank up your plaza as quick as you can so that you can have all the facilities you want!

Additionally, once you hit rank 40, you can change the music that plays. Good incentive for those who get their jimmies rustled by the same-old, same-old.

You get additional bonuses too, as the following table will detail.

Rank Bonus
4 You can now play Missions, the best way to rapidly accrue FC for a while
8 You can now ask other players to bring in their facilities if you pay FC
10 You can now buy with FC clothes that visitors are wearing that you don’t have
20 You can now change the name of your Festival Plaza
30 If you’ve defeated the Elite Four, you’ll unlock more items the shops will stock
50 You will now unlock a new theme for the Festival Plaza (Glitz)
60 You will now unlock a new theme for the Festival Plaza (Fairy Tale)
70 You will now unlock a new theme for the Festival Plaza (Subdued)
100 You can now use a new greeting (“I reached Festival Plaza Rank 100!”)
