Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Vincent Lau

Monoblos is a Flying Wyvern that prefers to stick to the ground, using its wings only when in distinct danger. It is a very charge-happy creature that loves to gore whatever it sees with the impressive horn growing on its snout.

**Area** **Start** **Roam** **Rest**
Dunes 7 1, 2, 4, 10 5

Tail Swing: Monoblos will look back at you and then swing its tail heavily into the ground to the left and the right.

Charge: This is the attack Monoblos will be performing most often, and hits the hardest. Monoblos will duck its head and run towards you, rapidly gaining momentum, and run you through with its horn. If you make it charge towards a cliff and then dodge out of the way, you can get Monoblos stuck for some free hits.

Burrowing Attack: Monoblos will tunnel underground into the sand, then come bursting out from beneath you.

Tail Whip: Monoblos, with its club-like tail, has a pretty deadly double 180 tail whip.

Horn Gore: Monoblos will step forward and toss its head violently upwards to the left and right, goring you with its horn. This does massive damage and sends you flying.

Hipcheck: Monoblos will turn to face you, then jab its hip out to the right side. The hitbox can be weird, so just stay away from this attack.

Side Chomp: Like all other Flying Wyverns, Monoblos can perform this silly, negligible attack.

Breakable Parts

Horn: Can be broken once. It will be visibly damaged.

Tail: Monoblos’s tail can be severed and carved twice.

Back: Can be broken once. Some of the spikes will be broken off

Elemental: Ice, Thunder

Status: Poison, Blast
