Seltas is a light, speedy, but fragile and weak flying insect who likes to use its impressive horn to attack you, along with its large, sharp front legs. The male version of the Seltas species, Seltas is usually seen fighting on its own. Seltas is fought very early in the game and is a great beginner’s monster to practice on.

Triple Spit: Seltas will shoot three green blobs of goo that will inflict Defense Down on you.

Flying Charge: Seltas will lower its horn and then charge at you as it flies. Uses this twice in a row in rage mode. Seltas also uses this attack to take off from the ground.

Hovering Claw Swipe: Swipes with its claw 180 degrees and pivots in the air. This attack repeats twice. Does large damage and sends you flying.

Claw Slam: Seltas will buzz very loudly in agitation lift its giant claws, then bring them slamming down to send you flying.

Pin Attack: Seltas will slash at the ground with its claws to try and pin you down. Use a Dung Bomb to escape. This attack is exclusive to High Rank.

Breakable Parts

Horn: Horn is missing a huge chunk out of it.


Elemental: Thunder, Fire

Status: Blast, Poison
