Flick is a red chameleon who loves bugs and is willing to pay extra for them!
Selling Bugs to Flick¶
Flick will visit your island around once every week or so. He’ll be around from 9am to 5am the following day, which gives you plenty of time to make the most of his presence by selling lots and lots of bugs!
Flick will buy bugs for 1.5 times the amount that the twins would buy them for. Lots of players will save their expensive insects, like scorpions and tarantulas to sell them to Flick because his buying prices are so much higher. You can give him as many bugs as you like between 9am and 5am, there’s no limit to how many insects he’ll buy from you.
If you’re visiting a friend’s island, you’ll be able to interact and sell bugs to Flick just like you would when he’s on your island.
Flick will buy as many bugs as you can catch.
Bug-Offs¶
You can also sell your Bug-Off competition bugs for the higher price, meaning during Bug-Offs you’ll be making lots of bells. For more information on the Bug-Off dates and how the competition works, click here.
Bug-Offs are summer events where you catch as many bugs as possible to win bug-related rewards!
