Pokémon Legends: Arceus

How to Trigger a Full Moon

By
Vincent Lau

This page explains how to make a full moon appear in Pokémon Legends: "Arceus" IconArceus (PLA).

Phases of the Moon

While you’re exploring the Hisui region, you may notice the moon in the night sky. As it happens, the in-game moon follows a similar cycle to its real life counterpart, but greatly accelerated. So at times, it may appear crescent shaped or it could be a full moon, for instance.

This information is important because there are two things tied to the moon.

  1. "Ursaring" IconUrsaring can only evolve into Ursaluna during a full moon.
  2. Request 67 requires investigating during a full moon.

How to Advance the Moon Phase

First, if it’s not already night, sleep in any camp and choose the “Until Nightfall” option. Wait until the moon rises in the sky and check to see if it’s a full moon or not.

(1 of 2) Sleep till nightfall to advance to the next night.

If you can see the moon and it’s not full, note down the appearance of the moon. As mentioned, the moon has 8 phases and it changes phase every 2 nights.

You can quickly advance to the next night by choosing to sleep until nightfall. Therefore, if you know the current phase, you can plan how many nights to sleep in. For example, if the current phase is B, you should sleep 4 nights to reach D (the full moon).
