This is a guide for Mission 3: “The Basics of Crafting” in Pokémon Legends: "Arceus" IconArceus (PLA).

How to Start Mission 3

(1 of 2) Akari/Rei will be your guide for this mission.

You will automatically receive this mission from Captain Cyllene after reporting to Commander Kamado at the end of Mission 2. Your new task is to create a Poké Ball with your own hands. For this purpose, Cyllene will teach you the Poké Ball Recipe and give you 3,000 money.

1. Visit the Craftworks

(1 of 2) Anthe has prepared you a change of clothes.

Exit Galaxy Hall back to the main street. Outside, you’ll be approached by Anthe, who runs the Clothier. She’ll give you an Everyday Kimono and some Everyday Trousers, in case you prefer a more casual appearance. You can also visit her Clothier, towards the left, to buy more clothes.

For now, head right towards the building where Akari/Rei is waiting for you. This is the Craftworks, where you can borrow the work bench to craft items.

2. Craft a Poké Ball

Without futher ado, go up to the work bench and press Joy-Con-ButtonA-Filled to inspect it. This will open the crafting menu.

(1 of 2) Be sure to make thorough use of this recipe!

Select “Poké Ball” from the menu and use Joy-Con-Stick-L-Filled or Joy-Con-DPad-Filled to choose the amount to craft. It will cost 1 Apricorn and 1 Tumblestone for each Poké Ball you craft. When you’re happy, press Joy-Con-ButtonA-Filled to confirm. Afterwards, you’ll instantly receive the chosen amount of Poké Balls.

Once you’ve crafted at least one Poké Ball (we recommend crafting the max amount), this mission will be deemed a success. Onto the next one!
