Honourable knights who serve to help and defend the fair citizens of Castele

Paladins pride themselves on their swift and skilful sword strokes and they can protect themselves against enemy attacks with their sturdy shield.

As a combat Life, the Paladin offers a superb balance of offence and defence, and is therefore a recommended Life for beginners or experts alike.

You can even fight without a shield, freeing the X button for Lightning-based sword strikes, but doing so effectively makes you a worse Mercenary.
