Good luck, there's twice the number of challenges as before, but nothing too terribly taxing.
For starters, you will be going to a large variety of places. Mt. Snowpeak is located north-east from the East Grassy Plains, while the Elderwood is north and the West Grassy Plains towards the north-west.
To get to the Waterfall Cave, head east from the Crowned Champion's house while on Mt. Snowpeak.
All of these locations can be accessed immediately, except for the West Grassy Plains, which unlocks after Part 1: Starting with a BANG!
Next, in a direct parallel to the "Whirlwind Tour of Reveria" challenge, you'll be asked to vanquish 10 monsters with your new Lightning Strike attack.
A few people don't realise how to use this attack--first you must unequip your Paladin's shield, then you hold the X button. Otherwise you'll just use your shield!
As for the monsters, you shouldn't have any trouble finding them if you just explore every nook and cranny. These new areas are big, but feature more linear paths, so it's harder to miss monsters.
When facing the Fanged Ape and Iron Golem, diligent use of your shield will save you from racking up a hospital bill. Be patient and study these monsters' attack patterns, then stab 'em when they're idle.
Rainbow Apples can be found in Farley's Plantation, north of the West Grassy Plains entrance, when coming in from the East Grassy Plains. Getting them is purely Luck-based; if you're unlucky you will just find Castele Apples.
But don't forget you can sleep for a day (in an inn, your room, etc.) or visit two other areas in succession (eg. South Castele and the East Grassy Plains) and the apples will reappear on the tree, ready to be shaken down again.
