Read the letter in the mailbox

How much would an autographed letter from the King sell? Just wondering…

Rise and shine! You’ve got another letter from King Erik. What does he want this time?

Head to the Royal Court

Naturally the King won’t bother explaining what he wants in his letter, not even a hint. Well, except they’ve discovered something “incredible”.

If you want to find out, you’ll need to hurry to the Castele Castle Royal Court where King Erik usually greets his audience.

Leave the Castle

You’ve obtained three Goddess’s Treasures, but your work isn’t finished yet because there’s still a fourth one out there somewhere.

That’s not all as a Doom Stone has been sighted crash landing in the Elderwood. You should head there too, so leave the castle.

Along the way, you’ll receive Ophelia’s Letter , which you must deliver to the representive of the Elderwood.

Go into the Elderwood

As promised, Laura will join you upon exiting the castle. Your destination: the Elderwood .

If for some reason you haven’t been, the Elderwood stretches beyond the north-east of the East Grassy Plains. To save time, head to Falcon’s Garage in South Castele to instantly travel there.

Once in the Elderwood, follow the path east, where you’ll bump into Butch, Pierre and Chomp.

Search the Elderwood

You can’t go wrong with following the red destination arrow either.

Nevermind Pierre acting totally weird (and not unlike Magnificus earlier), head in a north-westerly direction to see what you can find.

You’ll stop before Hughes and his lackeys near a stone artifact. After being warned not to proceed, proceed anyway by heading north across the wooden bridge.

Go deeper into the Elderwood

You’ve already come this far; cross the second wooden bridge to enter the Deep Elderwood .

Find out where the scream came from

It sounds like somebody’s in danger further inside; hurry north-west to see what’s happening.

Defeat the Shadow Monsters

A girl is being attacked by two Shadow Wolves–no problem for you and Laura. However there’s no Doom Stone is sight, so you’ll just have to do your best to knock out the wolves.

Go to Elderwood Village

With the girl, Leilah, to guide you, head north towards the hidden Elderwood Village . There are no monsters around right now, so relax.

At the far end, enter the Elderwood Grotto and the entrance to the village is just beyond. When you reach the entrance, you’ll notice it’s blocked, but Leilah will open the way for you. How kind!

Talk to Pino

Unfortunately Pino, Leilah’s brother, won’t allow outsiders like you to stay in the village. Their place, their rules, we suppose.

Once you’ve explored the village, head to the west side of the village and speak to Pino in his house so you can tell him you’re ready to leave.
