Pokémon: Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

Mt. Coronet (Side Tunnel)

By
Vincent Lau

This page is a guide for exploring the side tunnel of Mt. Coronet, accessible via the peak.

You can reach the side tunnel by entering the side cave towards the north-east of the peak exterior. After cutting through the Waterfall Cave, head north and then go down the stairs on the left. It’s a bit hard to see, but there’s a cave on the right side, a few paces up the narrow path.

Map

When you enter, use Rock Climb to descend into the main body of the tunnel. If you haven’t visited the Spear Pillar yet, there will be some Team Galactic goons roaming around. At this point, the tunnel exit will be blocked, but you can fight the Galactic grunts for experience.

Once Team Galactic has left Mt. Coronet, you can pass through the tunnel via the exit towards the far north, at the lowest level of the tunnel. You can get there by using Rock Climb to descend further down, then make your way north. Or you could go the long way around by heading east, then north.

The northern exit will lead towards the southern part of Center: 1F, where you can grab TM02 Dragon Claw. From there, you can use Strength to return to the main section of Center: 1F.
