World Bowser

World Bowser-4: Footlight Lane

This level is interesting because the ground, the footlight paths, are illuminated only a little bit from where you step so it’s hard to move quickly through the level. A ground pound can reveal a large area for a bit so it’s a useful technique when navigating this level. Start by crossing the bridge to a Boomerang Flower then up the stairway. Against the back wall is an invisible ? Block with a Super Star inside. Grab it then run through the Parabones along the winding path. Across the way is Green Star #1 and you can’t walk to it, you must jump.

Hop over to the platform with the first Star.

Head up the steps to the Checkpoint Flag then start out towards the spiked rollers. They roll in a perfect circle but if you need to know where you’re going do a ground pound, the middle is hollow so stick to the outside. Make your way to the third portion of spiked rollers where the center is solid. Hit the Green Star Ring and collect the coins to obtain Green Star #2 then to the next area.

Hop through the ring and grab all the green coins for a Star.

There is a Boomerang Flower in the block here, then you need to make your way down winding pathway with Bill Blasters firing at you. When you make it to the platform turn the camera so you can see behind you and leap over to the Stamp . Head back and continue right along another twisting path with Cat Bullet Bills chasing after you the whole way. Turn north as a small detour to the Mystery Box. Use the Thwomp to reach Green Star #3 up on the second level.

The Stamp is to the right of the main path (left). Inside the Mystery Box use the Thwomp to reach the Star (right).

Return to finish crossing the pathway to the Warp Box and reach the Goal Pole.
