This level introduces the Red-Blue Flip Panels which are triggered by a jump, ie; when you jump with your character the panels will switch from Red to Blue, rotating on it’s axis. Start by moving across the first area, it features simple enough leaps to a platform with a Fire Flower inside the ? Block . To claim Green Star #1 you’ll need to be a little crafty.
Defeat the Piranha Plants with Fireballs and then jump to rotate to the Blue Panel. Ahead is a Ring Burner with a ? Block above it. Dodge the ring of fire it shoots out then leap atop it, a safe point. Hit the block above for a Double Cherry then use the Jump Panel ahead to climb up to the Checkpoint Flag . Ahead are two more Ring Burners and a Piranha Plant that blocks a pipe. Defeat the Piranha Plant and enter the Puzzle Room. Step upon the P Switch to release a ball, you need to jump to rotate the panels in the background guiding the ball to the P Panel which releases Green Star #2 .
Back outside, grab the Double Cherry from above the Ring Burner then cross over, defeating the Goombas. This next part is pretty tough, so here’s the trick. Jump so the Red Panels are showing and wait for the ring of fire to come near you. Jump and dash along the Blue Panel now to the Green Star Ring to spawn the Green Coins that you’ll need to start grabbing. Hit the first two and leap atop the Ring Burner then run on the Red Panel, leaping to the Blue Panel where final two coins are. This series should let you dodge the rings of fire and claim Green Star #3 , hopefully with at least one clone in tact.
Cross over to the final area where a Multi-Vator can take you over to the Stamp pending you have a clone, if not just bring another character into the game.
Use the Switch Panels above to make a leap atop the Goal Pole.
