The Hop-Chop is an enemy that resembles a springboard, although they are really trying to chew up your character. There’s really not much to this enemy, though, as it will simply hop around and chase your character whenever they get too close. They are usually found in groups, so you’ll have to contend with more than one of them at a time. They can be defeated by most attacks and usually one of the group will turn into a regular springboard, typically to allow you to get a collectible nearby. Note that the springboard will eventually turn back into a Hop-Chop if left alone for too long.
