The Beep Blocks in this level go off every second, you can time your jumps with the music since it indicates switches of colors.

Cross onto the first island where you’ll discover a Super Leaf, this item will make things much simpler. Cross over the next platform and defeat the Spike then claim a 1-Up Mushroom . Continue across the next section of Beep Blocks to a Mario Character Switch , but unlike previous ones this is unimportant as only coins appear. Cross over to the next island where Parabones and Green Star #1 can be found. It’s easiest to run on the red, then blue blocks making a leap to the corner where you can find another Super Leaf .

The Mario switch (left) will net you a few coins. The first Star is above a set of beep blocks (right).

From here run off the red block and leap to the star then another leap to the Warp Box. Without the Tanooki Suit you’ll need to land on the blue blocks inbetween. Next you’ll have to deal with spiked rollers and a hefty climb up the Beep Blocks. Time your jumps so you avoid the spiked roller and make it to the next color until you reach the top. Defeat the Spike and touch the Checkpoint Flag only after acquiring all all the eight green coins from the Green Star Ring and collecting Green Star #2 from ahigh.

Hop through the green ring and collect the coins for the final Star.

Descending down the other side is much simpler than the climb up, just time your jumps down and into the Warp Box. The final stretch gives you a Super Leaf and a 1-Up Mushroom which means it’s not a big deal to lose a life here. Slide down one color, leaping and using the Tanooki Suit to stay on course, landing back on the same color. As the path narrows make sure you can grab Green Star #3 and reach the end. Climb up the final set of Beep Blocks to cap the Goal Pole.

The final Star is halfway down the long slide.
