Madpoles could be considered the Goombas of the water, although they are not very common at all. Whenever a player gets close enough, the Madpole will start chasing after them, and you will usually find them in packs. Any type of attack is good against the Madpole, although jumping on them might prove to be a little troublesome, due to water physics.
