Despite the name, Lava Bubbles are basically living fireballs that will jump out of the lava. They will do so on a cycle, usually giving you enough time to pass by them. They are generally invincible, unless you happen to have a Super Star. Unlike normal lava, which is a one-hit kill, the Lava Bubbles will do normal damage against the player.
