World Mushroom-7: Broken Blue Bully Belt

Unlock Requirement: This level requires that you have at least 240 Green Stars.

Like the original, platforms appear out of the blue lava so you can cross and the level is strewn with Super Leafs to help you out. The difference is that the platforms are sparse and without long jumps or the Tanooki Suit you’ll never make it across. Start with the Super Leaf from the ? Block right at the start, just watch out for the Splorch. Green Star #1 is over the lava but there’s only three platforms that bridge over.

Follow the shifting platforms around to reach the first Star.

Reaching the middle platform is tough without a Super Leaf, you’ll need to chain some long jumps together and it might take you a few tries. When you reach the next island three Splorches appear so you need to quickly move to the small platform over the lava. Wait for the blue Lava Bubbles to pop up before crossing.

Knock down the Parabones then pop the ? Block for another Super Leaf. Now leap over to the top of the platform with spiked rollers attached and time your jump to Green Star #2 , you can make it in a single leap with the Tanooki Suit or go all the way around without one. Complete the journey through this spinning spiked roller section to reach the Checkpoint Flag .

The walls here will stick out affording you time to long jump across, just beware the Parabones. Next you have to dodge Lava Bubbles and spiked rollers but you can pick up a Super Leaf along the way to make the leaps easier and less taxing if you mistakenly jump. Run past the pipe at the end then leap to Green Star #3 before going down the pipe.

The second Star is on a spike pillar (left). The final Star is behind the final warp pipe (right).

Cross the sea of blue lava using the platforms, you have to move fast though to cap the Goal Pole!
