This side quest is simply a redux of the main quest’s finale, in order to pillage the booty room a second time. It’s worth noting, however, that you need to ‘leave’ the game after beating the final boss for the first time, else a glitch will cause the loot room to remain as it was when you beat the boss. Exit, come back in, smulch boss, grab loot.
