Description¶
Distress call received from Harpoon Squad. Rendezvous at their position immediately to provide assistance.
Where to find the Harpoon Squad¶
Once you begin the fifth mission, Excavation Site. you’ll gain access to the second island which has multiple distress calls for you to deal with. Harpoon Squad can be found southeast of FOB Charlie.
How to Complete Harpoon Squad¶
As you arrive you’ll find the Marines which are a part of the Harpoon Squad being tied up and surrounded by Jackals, Grunts and Brutes. In order to save them you’ll need to clear out the area. Here you’ll want to sit up on the hill that overlooks the area and pick off the enemies until there’s only a few left before dropping down and finishing them off.

Take out the majority of the enemies from the hill (left), then drop down to finish off the remaining enemies. (right)
However, once the first group of enemies have been killed, several pods will drop on your location with reinforcements, so you’ll want to get back on the hill before taking them out, as you’ll get easily taken down if you’re out in the open.
