This page is a walkthrough on how to complete the UNSC Distress Call, Starlight Squad. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to rescuing the Starlight Squad.

Head to this location on the map to find the Starlight Squad.

Prerequisite:

Begin the mission: Recovery

Description

Distress call received from Starlight Squad. Rendezvous at their position immediately to provide assistance.

Where to find the Starlight Squad

Once you begin the fourth mission, Recovery in Halo Infinite, you’ll arrive at a small island which has a few UNSC Distress Calls. One of which can be found at the bottom of the island .

How to Complete Starlight Squad

As you arrive you’ll find the Marines which are a part of the Starlight Squad being tied up and surrounded by Brutes, Grunts and Jackals. In order to save them you’ll need to clear out the area. Here you’ll notice there are a lot of hexagonal pillars which you can use for cover and pick off the enemies. Aim for the tougher enemies first, so Jackals and Brutes, then focus on clearing out the Grunts.

Use the pillars for cover (left), whilst taking out the enemies. (right)

After you’ve cleared out the first group of enemies a ship full of reinforcements will turn and accompanying all the Jackals and Grunts is a Brute Chief. Focus on the other enemies first, then aim for the Brute last as he takes a lot of bullets to take out. Once all enemies have been dealt with the Marines will be freed and this distress call will be completed.
