Begin the mission: Excavation Site
Description¶
Distress call received from Pronto Squad. Rendezvous at their position immediately to provide assistance.
Where to find the Pronto Squad¶
Once you begin the fifth mission, Excavation Site, you’ll gain access to the second island which has multiple distress calls for you to deal with, such as the Pronto Squad which can be southeast of FOB Delta.
How to Complete Pronto Squad¶
As you arrive you’ll find the Marines which are a part of the Pronto Squad trying to fend off several Grunts and Jackals. Here you can approach the enemies from behind and pick them off with a BR75 whilst they’re currently distracted by the Marines. If you can’t get past the Grunts Shields, then shoot your Grapple Shot at them to get them to move it temporarily.
After the first wave of enemies have been defeated, make your way up to the hill where the Marines are and take control of the M237 HMG Machine Gun which you can use to defeat the reinforcements coming in via a ship.
Take out the first wave of enemies whilst they’re distracted
then use the machine gun up on the hill to deal with the reinforcements.
