This page will detail how to find The Jungle area of Vanaheim in God of War Ragnarok.
Once you finish the main quest, Creatures of Prophecy, you will be able to get to The Crater in Vanaheim, which is a large, optional area that houses many Favors, collectibles, and upgrades for your characters. To get started, you will first need to complete the Scent of Survival Favor, which starts in Freyr’s Camp. This will lead you to The Plains, but that’s only one of three areas found in The Crater.
When you have finally wrestled control on The Plains, you should be right next to a Mystic Gateway, with a wall you can grapple over to your north. Drop down into the large plains area, turn west and look for a pillar and another broken pillar in that direction. Drop down once again, then follow the path here to bring you southwest. Hop over the gap, then grapple across the next one to arrive in the Western Plains. Go to the western side and follow it north, past some rocks that have wind vents coming out of them.
Ignore those for now (they are part of a Favor here in The Plains), and continue north, until you can vault over a fallen pillar. Just past that pillar will be another point where you can drop down, where you should see a gate with some poison in front of it. As with the wind vents, ignore this too and head through the nearby cave, using the grapple points to get across the gaps. Climb the wall once you’re across, and you should see a Celestial Altar to turn the time of day into night. This is necessary in order to reach The Jungle.
Jump down into the main plains area to the east, then immediately turn south and hop up the short ledge there. Follow the wall of this cliff all the way, until you see yourself passing where a wooden barrier was during the day. If done right, you should see some torches across the canyon, which is where you need to go. Ignore the little pit-like area with some enemies, and look for a path off to the side that will lead you over there. You’ll pass through a cave, with some more enemies, as well as a spot where you have to climb some. Once you do the climbing section, look for a wooden plank to break on the wall to continue.
Upon going through the hole left behind, you will find some large footprints, and eventually reach The Jungle.
