This page details everything you need to know about how to complete The Mysterious Orb Favor in God of War: Ragnarok.
Speak to Lunda after returning to Freyr’s Camp the second time to accept the Favor.
How to Unlock The Mysterious Orb Favor in the River Delta of Vanaheim¶
This Favor will become available to you after you return to Freyr’s camp during the story mission “The Reckoning”. When you get back to the camp, head over to Brok, and he’ll have an old acquaintance working with him called Lunda. After you pick up Mimir, she’ll ask if you can do her a “Favor”, press 
After you return to Freyr’s Camp for the second time, head over to Brok, and press triangle to start the Favor.
She’ll tell you that she spent a lot of time in the past tinkering in the River Delta, and she left behind an orb. When you ask her what it is, she won’t give you a straight answer. This puts Kratos on edge, but you’ll accept the Favor anyway. Furthermore, she’ll mention to you that if you happen to come across any of her old armor pieces, bring them back to her, and she’ll make some armor out of it for you. You only need to find the Orb to complete the Favor as the armor pieces are optional, but like all gamers, we love our loot, and it’s well worth going out of your way to get it.
Where to Find The Mysterious Orb¶
If this is your first time traveling around the River Delta, there are lots of small islands around the Bayou, all with their own collectibles, loot, and Favors. For this Favor, we’ll assume that you’ve explored around a bit. To find the Mysterious Orb, you’ll need to traverse the Delta all the way south until you reach an area called “Goddess Falls”. If you’re struggling to find it, progress Freya’s Favor “Freya’s Missing Peace” as that will lead you there.
The actual place you’re looking for is called “The Veiled Passage” which can be found to the east of Goddess Falls. The Veiled Passage is directly south of Freyr’s Camp, at the bottom of the map, to give you an idea on where it is. The Veiled Passage is technically a “Hidden” region, and you get there by following the river east of Goddess Falls.

The entrance is a dimly lit cave that you can row into. You’ll know when you’re in the right area as The Veiled Passage will pop on your screen as soon as you enter it. As you go into the cave, you can dock the Boat at the nearby beach inside the cave to your right. Exit the boat, and turn your camera to the left where you’ll see “The Mysterious Orb” by the whetstone in one of Lunda’s old camps. Pick it up, and return to her to complete the Favor.
Where to Find Lunda’s Lost Armor Pieces¶
As mentioned above, you don’t need to get the armor pieces to complete the favor, but it’s well worth going out of your way to get them. There are three pieces in total to find, the Chest, Waist, and Wrist.
If you complete the optional task from Lunda, she’ll craft the above armor for you.
Lunda’s Broken Cuirass Location¶
This can be found on the island “Noatunn’s Garden” which is south of Freyr’s Camp, and north of Goddess Fall/The Veiled Passage. The easiest way to get there is to go from the River Delta Mystic Gateway, and follow the river east, then north. Exit the boat on the beach, and head east to where you’ll see a Chisel Door in-between two large statues. Open the Chisel Door, thanks to Freya upgrading it for you, and the Broken Cuirass will be inside the chest within.

Lunda’s Broken Belt Location¶
The next piece can be found at the Cliffside Ruins. From the River Delta Mystic Gateway, do a short row to the island opposite it to find the Cliffside Ruins. Exit at the beach, and head south until you hit a wall. Climb up the wall to your east, and follow the linear path until you reach the opening. The chest will be in the room to your north. Before you rush in there, take care of the numerous plants inside there, or they’ll poison you.

Lunda’s Broken Bracers Location¶
Finally, the last piece can be found in The Veiled Passage. This won’t be on the beach you got the Mysterious Orb from, there is another beach a little further north. When you exit the boat, head straight north, and open the red chest to the left of the large rock. Now that you have all the pieces, head back to Lunda to craft it for you. You’ll unlock the New Friends trophy after completing this favor.

Completing this Favor will reward you with the following:
- 1000 Kratos XP
- 250 Freya XP
- “New Friends” Trophy
- Lunda’s Armor Set (Optional)
