Strategies for all difficulties
The best way to approach this level is to have three characters that can effectively weather a storm of melee attacks while being backed by effective healers and ranged fighters. Now it’s simply up to you to endure the assault for a few turns. The Risen attack with melee alone, so stay in the corner until they’re dealt with.
The only time you need to worry is when the boss starts to get close. He will approach flanked by allies, but you should try and engage him if possible. His skills more than make up for his pathetic damage which makes him target number one as soon as he’s in range.
Again, like in EXPonential Growth, watch out for Risen with Counter – the boss has it, as do some of his lackeys.
Even weak enemies can topple your units with Counter if you’re not careful – any damage you do at melee will damage your units too. Archers, magic-users and anyone with a ranged weapon should eliminate these enemies first, to save you from potential headaches.
This stage is really just a numbers game seen as you hardly need to move from your starting position.
