Horizon Forbidden West

How to Find All 6 Rebel Camp Locations

By
Staci Miller

This is everything you need to know about how to find all six Rebel Camp locations in Horizon Forbidden West.

What Are Rebel Camps?

Rebel Camps are large settlements of Rebels. They’re somewhat bigger than Outposts, and there are fewer of them in the game. Defeating them all gets you a trophy and the Sun Scourge Legendary weapon.

Rebel Camp Locations

Here’s where to find them all.

Eastern Lie Rebel Camp

Likely the first Rebel Camp you’ll encounter, the Eastern Lie camp can be found west and slightly north of Barren Light. It’s just northwest of a Rebel Outpost, the Deadfalls, which you’ll encounter during the side quest The Bristlebacks.

The Hive Rebel Camp

The Hive Rebel Camp isn’t hard to find at all. If you move south of Scalding Spear, it should show up on the map. It’s recommended you’re Level 18 to attempt it and although it can be done on less, the camps are a little harder than the outposts and have less wiggle room for ability, so beware.

It isn’t hard to acess. In fact, it’s easy to stumble in accidentally.

Devil’s Grasp Rebel Camp

The Devil’s Grasp Rebel Camp is down in the southwest corner of The Stillsands. You can find it amongst the ruins of an old Machine, and the quest will pop up as you approach. It shouldn’t be difficult to locate.

Fenrise Rebel Camp

Unlocked after finishing The Dying Lands (a main quest), the Fenrise Rebel Camp is located on the southwest of the map. Head to the southeast of Fall’s Edge to find it and the quest should unlock.

Unlike other Rebel Camps, the entrance is actually locked to outsiders and it’s a little difficult to work out how to get in. What you should do is head to the left and look for the Grapple Points. Aloy can use her Pullcaster on them to get inside (which is easy to forget about, since the Pullcaster is only necessary every now and again).

Breached Rock Rebel Camp

This camp is northwest of the Memorial Grove. Once you arrive at the Breached Rock Rebel Camp you’ll notice that you can approach from three different angles. North (Main Entrance), East (Side Entrance), and South (Back Entrance).

First Forge Rebel Camp

The First Forge Rebel Camp is unlocking after completeting the previous five. Until you’ve done the rest of them, there’s no way to access it, so make sure to prioritize the ones available earlier in the game first.

Speak to Erend in the Hidden Ember settlement. The camp should now be on the map, near the shoreline in the Northeast of the Forbidden West.
