Anchor Ropecaster Description

This useful Ropecaster uses Shock Ropes to inflict damage over time and create an area of residual damage over time and create and area of residual damage. It can also launch Purgewater Canister Harpooons.

How to Get the Anchor Ropecaster

Sclading Spear Hunter Metal Shards x632, Bellowback Circulator x1

You can purchase the Anchor Ropecaster from the Hunter who has set up camp in Sclading Spear. You’ll need a Bellowback Circulator which is an uncommon Drop from Bellowbacks.

How to Use the Anchor Ropecaster

The Anchor Ropecaster is best used when fighting larger machines that are susceptible to Shock or Purgerwater Damage. A great way to use this weapon is to have it equipped at all times, then when you stumble across a flying Machine you’ll be able to fire a Binding Ropes at it to prevent it from moving away. Additionally, if the Machine is weak to Shock Damage, then use the Shock Ropes to tie the machine down as well as dealing elemental damage.
