This is a walkthrough for the Rebel Camp Breached Rock in Horizon Forbidden West. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to infiltrating the camp and killing the Camp Leader.

Description¶

Tanakth Rebels have taken over some Old World Ruins. But Why?

Objectives¶

1. Infiltrate the Rebel Camp
2. Find the Camp’s Leader
3. Kill the Camp’s Leader

Infiltrate the Rebel Camp¶

Once you arrive at the Breached Rock Rebel Camp you’ll notice that you can approach from three different angles. North (Main Entrance), East (Side Entrance), and South (Back Entrance). You’ll want to avoid going through the main entrance as there will be multiple Rebels patrolling these area, so your safest option is probably going through the back. Here you’ll want to hide in the tall grass to avoid being detected, then activate your Focus by holding R3 to highlight the Rebels location. Press R2 whilst hovering over them to permanently tag their location.

(1 of 3) Tag the enemy to reveal his path

Immediately you’ll notice that there is a Rebel Soldier soldier patrolling around the base, so wait until he isn’t facing you and slowly sneak up to him whilst using the grass as cover, then perform a Critical Strike. You’ll now have one more Rebel to deal with at the back entrance, so wait until he goes inside before taking him down.

Find the Camp’s Leader¶

After you’ve entered the camp, do another scan with your Focus to reveal more Rebels, then you’ll find a Rebel Champion that you’ll want to tag to reveal his path. Pay close attention to it, so you can find a patch of grass to hide in, then when he walks past go in for the Critical Strike. Collect the Bunker Key from his corpse, then walk down to the Bunker and insert the Key to gain entry.

Kill the Camp’s Leader¶

Inside the next room you’ll be greeted by a Rebel Champion and the Rebel Leader himself. If you aren’t able to take them down through stealth, then you’ll need to take them through melee combat. However, you’ll want to fire two-three Acid or Shock Arrows to destroy their shield. After both of the Rebels are down, examine the message device and Schematics in the center of the room. then interact with the Powercell opposite to overload it and this Rebel Camp will be completed.
