A mighty Tenakth weapon, this boltblaster can fire Frost and Plasma Bolts. It can be upgraded to inflict extra damage to targets at long range (30m or more).

How to Get the Icestorm Boltblaster

Location Cost
The Base Hunter 1,437 Metal Shards, 1 Bellowback Circulator, 1 Large Machine Core

You can purchase the Icestorm Boltblaster from the Hunter who has set up camp southwest of The Base. You’ll need one Bellowback Circulator and one Large Machine Core alongside the Metal Shards to purchase it. Bellowback Circulators are an uncommon drop from Bellowbacks and Large Machine Cores are rare drop from large machines, such as a Tremortusk.

How to Use the Icestorm Boltblaster

The Icestorm Boltblaster is best used when fighting larger machines that are susceptible to Shock, Plasma or Frost Damage. A great way to use this weapon is to alternate through the different ammo types, so start with Shock to stun the machine, then switch over to Plasma and wait for it to wear to trigger a heavy hitting explosion.

  • Plasma Bolts - Plasma }Damage builds up on the machines and explodes for a lot of damage.
